IEDA Community

  • New content has been added to the IEDA YouTube Channel including videos that explain how to register samples in SESAR, how to search for content in the Marine-Geo Digital Library, and how to submit data to the EarthChem Library. Additionally, new tutorials were posted on the GeoMapApp YouTube Channel, including a full-length webinar.
  • The IEDA team had a busy week at the AGU Fall Meeting hosting an exhibit booth with demonstrations of our data and software resources; holding a GeoMapApp Users’ Lunch to inform users of recent and upcoming enhancements and gather valuable feedback; and presenting a total of ten talks and posters about IEDA developments, tools, and resources. The 2016 IEDA-CCNY Interns also gave presentations on the results of their work over the summer.
  • Also at the Fall AGU Meeting, IEDA and Elsevier presented the 2016 International Data Rescue Award in the Geosciences to the winning project, "Revealing Our Melting Past: Rescuing Historical Snow and Ice Data." Read More.
